1. Most Memorable Hunt
My most memorable hunt to date is of the day I shot my first doe while hunting with my fiancé in Ohio. We were sitting in a buddy stand when five doe came walking in towards our buddy stand. My fiancé pointed out two does that were alright to shoot. I pick out the doe I wanted to take, aimed and fired. She went down and my eyes immediately flooding with tears. Knowing that I would most likely cry my fiancé, Tom, made sure to catch the whole thing on video. The tears only lasted a moment and soon turned into excitement. I was so proud of myself and I couldn’t wait to share the news with my dad. It was a great experience, one I will never forget.
2. Favorite Game to eat and How to Prepare it
My favorite wild game is venison. I have so many great recipes for preparing it, but my venison meatloaf with morel mushrooms is my favorite. This recipe takes meatloaf to a whole new level. The earthy taste of the morel mushroom combined with the flavor of venison goes perfectly together. I am getting hungry just thinking about it.
3. Favorite game to chase
Whitetail during archery season is my favorite game to hunt. I am new to archery, but I quickly fell in love with it, and I look forward to all my future archery hunts.
Get out there,
